WANDERER POSITION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wanderer position management system capable of specifying a position of a wanderer easily and reliably with low running cost in which a terminal to be detected has light weight and small size and is usable for a long term.

SOLUTION: A wanderer position management system comprises: a terminal to be detected 3 which has an operation processing part 32 which performs positioning processing for calculating position information with electric wave received from a positioning satellite as well as creating management information in which identification information, position data and time information are associated with one another and a communication part 30 capable of communicating with a short-range low-speed radio communication network Z by short-range low-speed radio and which is carried by a wanderer; integrated information processing means 7 having an information storage part 73 storing map information in advance and an integrated operation processing part 72 which obtains management information from the terminal to be detected 3 via the short-range low-speed radio communication network Z to be associated with map information for creating detection result information; and display means 21 which allows a monitor to visually confirm the detection result information. In the system, the terminal to be detected 3 automatically transmits the management information to the short-range low-speed radio communication network Z for each predetermined time.
