<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dot impact printer that can properly cool a record head with a simple structure while reducing a load for movement of the record head. <P>SOLUTION: The dot impact printer includes: the dot impact type record head 5; a peltier element 21 provided so that a heat absorbing surface 21a is closely contacted with the record head 5; a Seebeck element 23 provided so that a heating surface 23a is closely contacted with a heat dissipation surface 21b of the peltier element 21; a cooling control portion 53 for controlling the peltier element 21; and a battery power source 56 for storing generated power by the Seebeck element 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
