摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correspond to two laser beams having different wavelengths, suppress unnecessary diffraction light, and enhance detection accuracy of an error signal. <P>SOLUTION: An optical pickup device comprises: a laser unit having a first light source for emitting a first laser beam conforming to a CD specification, and a second light source for emitting a second laser beam conforming to a DVD specification having a shorter wavelength than that of the first laser beam arranged on the same surface; diffraction grating including only a diffraction grating member corresponding to the wavelength of the second laser beam; and a photodetector. Each of light receiving sensitivities of one first sub-light receiving section corresponding to the first laser beam, a first main light receiving section and the other sub-light receiving section, in the photodetector are set so as to correspond to a case in which the spectral ratio of the laser beam to be emitted to each of the one first sub-light receiving section, the first main light receiving section and the other sub-light receiving section is set to be approximately 1:16:1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
