<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser light source in which energy of output pulse laser light can be stabilized. <P>SOLUTION: The laser light source 1 comprises a control section 10, an optical amplifier fiber 11, an excitation light source 12, a photoswitch 13, a drive circuit 14, a monitor section 15, an output optical power regulator 16, a total reflection mirror 17, a lens 18A, a lens 18B, and a dichroic mirror 19. When an optical path between a first port 13a and a third port 13c of the photoswitch 13 is in a light transmitting state, an end face 11a of the optical amplifier fiber 11 and the total reflection mirror 17 constitute a laser resonator. When the optical path between a second port 13b and the third port 13c of the photoswitch 13 is in the light transmitting state, the control section 10 performs stabilization control of peak power or energy of laser light output when the optical path between the first port 13a and the third port 13c of the photoswitch 13 is in the light transmitting state, based on the optical power monitored at the monitor section 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
