<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift control device for an automatic transmission, which prevents the occurrence of abnormal sound in controlling a shift rod with a motor. <P>SOLUTION: The shift control device for an automatic transmission carries out the shift of the shift rod 32 of the automatic transmission with a ball screw 54 and a shift motor 60 for rotating the ball screw 54. The shift control device includes: a motor driver 71 for controlling the rotating speed of the shift motor 60; a sensor 66 for detecting a displacement amount of the shift rod 32 at a speed change; and a TCM 73 for controlling the motor driver 71 immediately when a detected value of the sensor 66 is input to variably control the shift motor 60. The TCM 73 includes a control function which controls the motor driver 71 so that the shift motor 60 moves in the shift direction with a predetermined thrust force at a start of a shift speed change and, when the detected value of the sensor 66 exceeds a fixed threshold, the motor driver 71 causes the shift motor 60 to generate an excitation brake force to reduce the thrust force further as compared at the start of shift speed change, then shifts the shift rod to the target position with the detent force of the detent mechanism 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
