<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a device main body in a horizontal state with all of four or more legs supporting the device main body being grounded. <P>SOLUTION: A device of the present invention comprises: a device main body; four or more legs which are extendable and support the device main body; a horizontal sensor which detects whether or not the device main body is in a horizontal state and outputs a detection signal indicating a detection result; and a control section which elongates or contracts the four or more legs in a manner that performs: an elongation process to independently elongate each leg, when a horizontal signal, which is the detection signal indicating that the device main body is in the horizontal state, is output by the horizontal sensor, until a non-horizontal signal, which is the detection signal indicating that the device main body is not in the horizontal state, is output by the horizontal sensor; and a contraction process to independently contract each leg, when the non-horizontal signal is output by the horizontal sensor as a result of the elongation process, until the horizontal signal is output by the horizontal sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
