<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle capable of easily displacing the direction of a steered wheel, even when a steering electric motor fails. <P>SOLUTION: This steering device includes a ball screw mechanism 23 including a ball nut 48 driven by rotors 31 and 41 of the electric motors 21 and 22 and a screw shaft 47 arranged on a steered shaft 6 and joined to the ball nut 48 by a screw. Rotation of the steered shaft 6 is regulated by a first regulating mechanism 60. A screw member 58 can be removed from a bush 26. The screw member 58 regulates rotation of the rotors 31 and 41 by inserting a second female screw part 63 of a housing 5 and a second insertion hole 64 of the rotor 31.
