<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device that prevents sedimentation of a contained component in active energy curable ink and supplies the active energy curable ink, and an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The active energy curable ink is supplied from an ink tank 60 to a recording head 20 by an ink supply flow passage 702. A first ink circulating flow passage 704 branches from the ink supply flow passage 702 at a first position of the ink supply flow passage 702, and the active energy curable ink is made to flow into the ink tank 60. A first switching part 72 is provided at the first position, and elects a first circulation state in which the active energy curable ink flows in the first ink circulation flow passage 704, or an ink supply state in which the active energy curable ink passes the first position and flows through the ink supply flow passage 702 to the recording head 20 side.
