<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rigidity of a bearing, or to reduce leakage of a lubricant. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary apparatus 100 has: a stator having a shaft 26 fixed between a base 4 and a base 4; a rotor having a hub 28 on which a rotor side annularly surrounding member 104 for annularly surrounding the shaft 26 and a magnetic recording disk 8 are to be mounted; a lubricant 92 continuously interposed between the rotor and the stator; and a first radial dynamic pressure-generating groove and a second radial dynamic pressure-generating groove formed so as to be vertically separated from each other on an inner peripheral surface 104a of the rotor side annularly surrounding member 104. The distance between a first gas-liquid interface 112 and a second gas-liquid interface 116 of the lubricant 92 in a direction of a rotary shaft R is smaller than a distance between an opposite side of the first radial dynamic pressure-generating groove to the second radial dynamic pressure-generating groove and an opposite side of the second radial dynamic pressure-generating groove to the first radial dynamic pressure-generating groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
