<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generation system which has a plurality of solar cell arrays installed therein, so that, when struck by lightening, damage to the solar cell arrays can be restricted to a possible minimum. <P>SOLUTION: A photovoltaic power generation system 1 has a plurality of solar cell arrays 2 installed therein. The solar cell arrays 2 each consist of a solar cell unit 3, a frame 4 for securing the solar cell unit 3, and a bearing pile 5 which is driven into a foundation 10 to bear the frame 4. The bearing pile 5 is installed in such a way that a part of its upper end side which is connected with the frame 4 is protruded above the foundation 10. The frame 4 and the bearing pile 5 are connected via an insulator 6. The solar cell units 3 of the different solar cell arrays 2 are connected with each other via an arrester 8, so that, even when one of the solar cell units 3 constituting the photovoltaic power generation system 1 is struck by lightening causing a lightening current to occur, no other solar cell units 3 are damaged by the lightening current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
