摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eddy current flaw detector having an improved detection accuracy for a blowhole or a flaw on the surface of an object to be inspected, without a mechanism to mechanically change the position of an eddy current flaw detection sensor with a high degree of accuracy for keeping a constant distance between the surface of the object to be inspected and the eddy current flaw detection sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A prescribed calculation is performed using output values of eddy current flaw detection signals outputted from an eddy current flaw detection sensor 24 and output values of distance change signals outputted from a distance sensor 25, so that errors in the output values of the eddy current flaw detection signals due to the change in distance between the sensor surface of the eddy current flaw detection sensor 24 and the inner surface of a bore 5A of a cylinder block (object to be inspected) are corrected. The corrected output values of the eddy current flaw detection signals are converted to luminance values at every predetermined unit time and arranged on a plane, so as to create a picture indicating the position and the size of a blowhole or a flaw on the inner surface of the bore 5A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
