<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply apparatus, to which electric power is supplied from a distribution board that distributes purchased power from an electric power company and generated power from a solar power generator to the equipment in a building, and which can suppress reduction in the quantity of generated power that can be supplied to the electric power company, and to provide a method for executing a heating process of the hot water supply apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In a storage type hot water supply apparatus, electric power is supplied from a distribution board that distributes purchased power from an electric power company and generated power from a solar power generator to the equipment in a building. The hot water supply apparatus includes: a heat pump unit that carries out a boiling operation of consuming the supplied power from the distribution board to heat water in a hot water storage tank; and a control device having an execution unit that controls the heat pump unit to carry out the boiling operation in a night power time zone. The execution unit has: a normal boiling operation as a first boiling operation, in which the finishing time of boiling is set to the end of the night power time zone; and an early boiling operation, in which the finishing time of boiling is set to time earlier than the finishing time of boiling in the normal boiling operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
