<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna selection method for making it possible to shorten the time required for antenna selection and reduce the number of times of unnecessary antenna switching. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna selection method for selecting N antennas from M antennas (N<M) as a use antenna used for communication with a communication partner includes the steps of: acquiring communication quality of each N antenna set of M antennas in the case that the set is taken for the use antenna, in starting the communication; setting priority for each of all the sets based on the communication quality; selecting the set having the highest priority as the use antenna; starting antenna selection processing when the communication quality becomes lower than a threshold, after acquiring the communication quality in the communication (S12); and performing antenna switching to each of the sets in the descending order of the priority as the antenna selection processing, and finishing the antenna selection processing after selecting the set whose communication quality is equal to or higher than the threshold as the use antenna (S13 to S19). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
