<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional document management device in which: it is difficult to safely perform operation to temporarily impart access right to a specific user or group, and redundant information increases. <P>SOLUTION: A document management device includes first storage means 1 of storing a document; second storage means 2 of storing access right information having a main body with the access right and the kind of the access right associatively with an identifier of an access right list object; third storage means 3 of storing identifiers of a plurality of access right list objects associatively with the identifier of the document; and access control means 4.
