<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image detection device which efficiently detects an object image on a column curved surface. <P>SOLUTION: A predetermined plane object including a predetermined feature region deforms and is wound around a curved surface of a predetermined columnar solid to be present as an object on the curved surface including the feature region on the curved surface. An image detection device 1 which detects information on the object on the curved surface from an input image includes a column region detection part 10 which detects straight lines from the input image and detects a column region candidate including a columnar solid as a region sandwiched between two straight lines; a feature region detection part 20 which detects the feature region on the curved surface from the inside of the column region candidate based upon a predetermined longitudinal length and a lateral length of a circumscribed rectangle of the feature region before deformation, a predetermined radius of the columnar solid, and predetermined color information on the feature region; and an object detection part 30 which detects position information on the object on the curved surface based upon the extracted feature region on the curved surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
