<p>The invention relates to a process for assembling pieces of laminate fabrics as components of protective garments. According to the invention, the process comprises a preliminary stage during which the collar underside (3) is made by mounting a hanging element (a) between a hood (1) and a collar face (2), after which, during a first stage, the collar face (2) and the hood (1) are mounted by sewing onto the garment body (5) proper, during a second stage the collar underside (3) is applied by an impervious joint, and further on, in a third stage, the collar underside (3) is folded and some impervious joint bands (4, 4') are applied and in a fourth stage there is cut a piece (6) closing the collar (3), finally, the resulting assembly being tightly closed by a final stitch to provide protection against water penetration through the seams.</p> |
