<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily eject paper retained in an image forming device due to the occurrence of jam to the outside of the device. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes: a main conveyance section capable of conveying paper in the device and conveying the paper to a paper discharge section; a reversing conveyance section receiving the paper from the main conveyance section, reversing the paper, and then returning the paper to the main conveyance section; an orthogonal reverse section 46 interposed in the reversing conveyance section, and reversing the surface and back face of the paper by turning the paper in the surface/back face direction while switching the paper conveyed in the reversing conveyance section to a direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction to orthogonally convey the paper; and a paper ejection part moving the paper at a conveyance path of the orthogonal reverse section to the outside of the conveyance path along the orthogonal conveyance direction (rollers for reverse 465, 466, ejecting rollers 490, 491, 492, and a stack part 49). By this, even if jam occurs in the image forming device, paper retained in the image forming device can be promptly removed to the outside of the device via the orthogonal reverse section 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
