<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer device capable of easily and efficiently using an ink ribbon, and a method of controlling the same. <P>SOLUTION: This printer device performs printing on an print object based on input data, and includes: a print mechanism for forming an image in accordance with the input data on the print object by subjecting an ink ribbon 700 to press-bonding to the print object; a print controller 57 for controlling the print mechanism 58 so that images in accordance with the input data are formed by being rotated at 180° at the first printing and the second printing; and a drive mechanism 59 for rewinding the ink ribbon stretched between a supply roll and a take-up roll to the supply side between the first printing and the second printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
