<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently determine a collision domain where participation or withdrawal involved in multiple apparatus in a network is generated. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring board 20 is arranged in each collision domain 14A to which a plurality of boards 15 are connected. The monitoring board 20 also has a capture unit 23A which captures an MAC address unique to an LAN port 16 in the board 15 from the data flowing through the collision domain 14A. Furthermore, the monitoring board 20 has a board management table 30 on which the MAC address in the collision domain 14A is registered. The monitoring board 20 is further provided with an address determination unit 23B and a board determination unit 23C which compare a captured MAC address and a registered MAC address, and determine a collision domain 14A where participation or withdrawal involved in each board 15 is generated based on the comparison results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
