摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) device for correcting the distortion in an image due to nonlinearity by calculating the distortion amount on an imaging cross section when the cross section is decided, by using the Bio-Savart law, based on the shape of the gradient magnetic field coil. <P>SOLUTION: The MRI device includes a processing means for generating a reconstitution image in a space for storing a subject, based on a magnetic resonance signal. The processing means calculates gradient magnetic field intensity on an arbitrary imaging cross section in the space, based on a pattern constituting a gradient magnetic field generation means, calculates the distortion amount in the gradient magnetic field on the imaging cross section by using the calculated gradient magnetic field intensity, and acquires the reconstitution image with the distortion of the gradient magnetic field intensity removed therefrom by correcting the distortion amount of the reconstitution image, based on the distortion amount in the gradient magnetic field. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
