<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of highly accurately and easily estimating the amount of salt coming from a seashore with little variation for an estimating position. <P>SOLUTION: When estimating an incoming salt amount coming from the seashore to a prescribed position, with an offshore distance D from the seashore to the prescribed position and wave height strength H at the seashore, an incoming salt amount C is estimated from the following equation.
