<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of appropriately preventing runaway of heater control for heating a fixing roller. <P>SOLUTION: Since a first thermistor 21 and a thermostat 17 are symmetrically disposed with respect to a center G of a nip area between a fixing roller 11 and a pressure roller 12, a detection temperature by the first thermistor 21 and a sensing temperature by the thermostat 17 are constantly changed similarly. When the detection temperature by the first thermistor 21 increases to an upper limit temperature F3, the sensing temperature by the thermostat 17 also increases to the upper limit temperature F3, and the thermostat 17 is switched from ON to OFF, so that the energization to a heater lamp 16 is stopped at an appropriate timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
