<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent excessive power of an audio signal supplied from an amplification section to a load from damaging the load, and prevent the audio signal supplied to the load from becoming completely zero. <P>SOLUTION: An amplification device comprises: an amplification section 2 for amplifying an input audio signal and outputting the amplified audio signal to a load; a detection section 3 for detecting whether or not the audio signal output from the amplification section 2 is at least a first set value, and if the first set value is reached or exceeded, outputting a signal indicating that the first set value is reached or exceeded to an attenuation section 4; and the attenuation section 4 for charging a capacitor C3 with the signal supplied from the detection section 3 which indicates that the first set value is reached or exceeded, and if the charge voltage is at least a predetermined voltage, continuously changing impedances of transistors Q5, Q6 relative to a signal line of the input audio signal in accordance with the magnitude of the charge voltage to attenuate the power of the input audio signal in accordance with the continuous impedance changes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
