<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type rotary electric machine capable of accurately detecting a magnetic pole position without separately providing a sensor magnet. <P>SOLUTION: The permanent magnet type rotary electric machine includes: a stator provided with a stator core and an exciting coil wound around the stator core; and a rotor 4 facing the stator across a prescribed gap and provided with a rotor core 13 configured by laminating magnetic steel sheets in an axial direction and a plurality of permanent magnets 15 inserted to magnet insertion holes 14 formed in the axial direction on the rotor core 13. A magnetic pole position sensor is arranged at the stator, the magnetic steel sheet at a position facing the magnetic pole position sensor of the rotor 4 is cut off, and a magnetic body non-interposed area 18 is formed between the permanent magnets 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
