<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a first sheet of paper discharged on a staple tray from being caught by a paper discharge means when the sheet is arranged at an alignment position on the staple tray in a paper post-processing device. <P>SOLUTION: The paper post-processing device has a conveyance means 2 for conveying a paper sheet P discharged from an image forming device, the staple tray 5 for temporarily stacking the paper sheets, alignment means 4a, 4b for aligning a direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction of a bundle of the stacked paper sheets, a post-processing means 7 for performing post-processing to the aligned paper sheet bundle, paper discharge means 3a, 3b for discharging the paper sheet bundle after being post-processed, a paper sheet returning means 10 provided between the conveyance means and the paper discharge means to contact with an upper surface of a paper sheet discharged from the conveyance means, and a paper discharge tray 8 for loading the paper sheet bundle discharged by the paper discharge means. In the paper post-processing device, a control means controls the alignment means to move below the paper sheet so that the alignment means supports the paper sheet conveyed by the conveyance means, and also controls to clip the paper sheet by an upper part of the alignment means and the paper sheet returning means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
