<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively and suitably perform switching of a speed reduction ratio accompanying load increase. <P>SOLUTION: In the power tool, there is provided a transmission 11 for switching a speed reduction ratio disposed between the motor 10 as a rotative power source and an output unit 12 rotatingly driven by the motor 10. The power tool is also provided with: driving state detecting means 16, 17 which detect at least two driving states from among driving states which change according to the magnitude of a load when the output unit 12 is driven; and a control means 13 which controls the transmission to perform switching operation of the speed reduction ratio when at least the two driving states detected by the driving state detecting means fulfill preset prescribed conditions corresponding to the respective two driving states. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
