A managing method for an application program is disclosed, which includes: a first terminal converts the file of a specified application program stored by itself into an intermediate file in a predefined intermediate format, in which the intermediate format can be identified by other terminals with a running environment for the application program (S101); the first terminal makes backup management for the specified application program by storing the intermediate file in a specified storing location, so that a second terminal can recover the application program that is backed up, wherein both the second terminal and the first terminal have the running environment for the application program (S103). A managing device and terminal for an application program are also provided. By the solution, the commonality backup management is realized for an application program, in order that the terminals that need to recover the application program convert a file in an intermediate format into formats needed by each one to recover and make the application program used correctly. |
