<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable effective utilization of resources such as frequencies and power of a standby channel in a radio network having a plurality of active channels and the standby channel. <P>SOLUTION: In a transmission-side radio communication device 101, transmission-side interfaces 111a, 111b, 111c and a DIST card 112 are set to form one logical channel by aggregating a channel having large traffic with the standby channel by a trunk function, on no occurrence of a fault such as a hardware fault and channel abnormality. Further, in a reception-side communication device 102, reception-side interfaces 153a, 153b and 153c are set to form one logical channel by aggregating the channel having large traffic with the standby channel.
