<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precious metal alloy suitable for a probe pin which has excellent workability that can cope with miniaturization, and has excellent hardness and antifouling properties. <P>SOLUTION: A rhodium alloy suitable for a wire material for a probe pin contains 30-150 ppm of Fe, 80-350 ppm of Ir and 100-300 ppm of Pt as additive elements, and the balance including Rh. The probe pin formed of the material has stable contact resistance even at a low contact pressure while maintaining workability of the rhodium, has excellent hardness and antifouling properties, and can be stably used for a long period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
