<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device which cools a heat radiation part of a Peltier cooling unit disposed in a camera while preventing vibration from transferring to the camera, and a microscope having the same. <P>SOLUTION: A cooling device includes: a chamber 19 which accommodates a heat radiation part of a Peltier cooling unit 5 disposed in a camera 3 and to which cooling liquid for cooling the heat radiation part is guided; a first tank 10 which is disposed at a lower position than the chamber 19 and stores the cooling liquid; a second tank 20 which is disposed at a higher position than the chamber 19 and stores the cooling liquid; a pump 26 provided with a conveyance pipe 27 which guides the cooling liquid in the first tank 10 to the second tank 20; a supply pipe 28 which guides the cooling liquid in the second tank 20 to the chamber 19; and a discharge pipe 29 which guides the cooling liquid in the chamber 19 to the first tank 10.
