<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear transmission, in which a friction coefficient between gears can be adjusted more properly. <P>SOLUTION: The gear transmission 1 includes a driving side gear 2 including a plurality of gear surfaces 22a to 22c different in surface roughness in the axial direction of a rotary shaft 21, a driven gear 3 engaged with the driving side gear 2, and a changing mechanism 4 for moving, in a direction where surface roughness of the gear surface of the driving side gear 2 in the engaging position with the driven gear 3 is greater, at least one of the driving side gear 2 and the driven gear 3 in an axial direction, and changing the engaging position between the driving side gear 2 and the driven gear 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
