The invention relates to a laryngoscopy device that includes [a] a bar (7), having a first end and a second end, [b] a supporting means (13) on the first end of the bar (7) suitable for leaning on the larynx of a patient (undergoing an exploratory or a surgical operation in this area), a [c] retaining means (15) suitable for fixing the device to a second bar (39), and [d] a means of adjusting the length (17) suitable for adjusting the distance between the supporting means (13) and the retaining means (15). The device makes it possible to exert continuous, controlled downward pressure on the larynx area from outside the neck. It is thus possible to move the larynx, which considerably improves exposure of the anterior commissure of the larynx and of the adjacent area. |
