A retention device (32) is arranged at the lining element, and the holding element comprises a rhomboid shaped detent (28). The detent is more releasably latched in an H-shaped aperture (30) in the retention device. The detent comprises a groove-shaped recess. The lining element comprises a trough-shaped recess (34) for accommodating the detent. The trough-shaped recess is covered by the retention device. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a fastening system.
