Provided is a process of producing a molding which contains a cyclic olefin resin and exhibits an extremely small degree of deterioration in transparency even when exposed to high-temperature/high-humidity environments. A cyclic olefin resin composition comprising a cyclic olefin resin and a thermoplastic elastomer, wherein the content of the thermoplastic elastomer is 0.1 to 2 mass% inclusive, is molded under the conditions in which the cylinder temperature is equal to or lower than a temperature that is higher by 170°C than the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the cyclic olefin resin. With regard to the requirement for the cylinder temperature, it is preferred that the cylinder temperature falls within the range from 250 to 300°C inclusive.
