Dynamo-electric machine with metal bellows as torque support

The machine i.e. frameless dynamo-electric machine (6), has a rotor and a stator having an air gap winding system, which electro-magnetically interacts with the rotor so as to cause rotation of the rotor about an axis (16). A metal bellow (1) is utilized as a torque support at front side of the machine, and the air gap winding system of the stator is arranged in grooves of a laminated core of the stator. The rotor includes permanent magnets that are arranged in axially extending recesses or on an upper surface of the rotor or is designed as a squirrel-cage rotor. An independent claim is also included for a drive unit.
