<p>A linear motor (1) has a stator (2) and an armature (3). The stator has winding former (21) and a drive winding (22) arranged on the winding former. One sensor winding (23) is arranged between the winding former and drive winding to avoid drive winding from contacting with the armature in the case the armature penetrates through the winding former.</p>
