PURPOSE: An insulating material composition for automotive electric wire is provided to have excellent flame retardance without using halogen component, and to obtain excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, abrasion resistance, and flame retardance. CONSTITUTION: An insulating material composition comprises 10-50 parts by weight of polypropylene resin, polyethylene resin, or a mixture thereof, 20-80 parts by weight of polyolefin elastomer resin, 10-30 parts by weight of maleic anhydride-grafted polyethylene resin, 1-8 parts by weight of crosslinking aid, 1-10 parts by weight of antioxidant, and 120-180 parts by weight of flame retardant. The polypropylene resin has a bending elasticity of 500-18000 kgf/cm^2, and a Shore D hardness of 10-80. |
