PURPOSE: A piercing pin for forging and a method for manufacturing a heating tube of a glow plug using the same are provided to improve durability without having a welded portion because a heating tube of a glow plug is manufactured from a material by a piercing pin through a forging procedure. CONSTITUTION: A piercing pin(100) for forging materials containing nickel as a main component comprises a body portion(110), a sharp end portion(120), and an expanded portion(130). The sharp en portion is formed into a shape of a sharp tip. The cross section of the expanded portion is gradually widened from the body portion to the sharp end portion.
