Drilling operation optimizing method, involves updating earth model with petrotechnical data based on comparison, and modifying drilling trajectory. The method involves obtaining petrotechnical data about volume of an earth model while drilling a well. The petrotechnical data is compared with the earth model. A migration imaging process is performed on the volume. A three dimensional anisotropic depth model is created with the petrotechnical data. The earth model is updated with the petrotechnical data based on the comparison. A well construction is defined based on interpretations or properties derived from the updated earth model. The method allows auditing of available information regarding the earth volume and determining feasibility of drilling the planned well, thus enabling minimization of uncertainties and mitigating risks associated with drilling the planned well. |
