PURPOSE: An in-wheel motor device for an electric vehicle is provided to locate a connecting member and a connector in the outer direction in a vehicle by installing a connection coil in the outer direction in a vehicle and protect a connector from foreign materials by installing the connector in a wheel. CONSTITUTION: An in-wheel motor device for an electric vehicle comprises a motor(1), a speed reducer(6), a hub, a disk(4), a wheel(8), and a caliper. The speed reducer transmits the torque of the motor. The hub is installed in the front portion of the speed reducer. The disk or the hub is installed in the hub. The caliper is assembled in the disk. A non-connection coil(12) in the motor is coiled in the inner direction of a vehicle based on a stator(11) and a connection coil(13) in the motor is coiled in the outer direction of a vehicle. The connecting member(14) is located in the external direction of a vehicle and a connector(5) is located into outer direction of a vehicle.
