The disclosure discloses a method and a device for processing a dynamic System Information Block (SIB). The method includes: after receiving the dynamic SIB (S102), a user terminal saves the dynamic SIB locally and turns on a validity timer of the dynamic SIB if the dynamic SIB is not saved locally (S104); and if a dynamic SIB that is the same as the received dynamic SIB is saved locally, the user terminal deletes the locally-saved dynamic SIB, turns off the validity timer of the previous locally-saved dynamic SIB (S106), saves the received dynamic SIB locally and turns on the validity timer of the locally-saved received dynamic SIB (S108).By the solution, the power consumption of the UE is reduced.
