A cylinder housing has a cylinder core (1) that is provided with a key channel (8) for inserting a key (2). A locking pin (5) provided in a blocking position of the key channel is projected, such that complete insertion of key is prevented. An auxiliary locking pin is arranged relative to a magnet (3) in the key corresponding to unpolarized magnet (6) in cylinder core. The locking pin is moved from the locking position, when the magnet in the key is operated against the action of the magnet (4) that is arranged at the cylinder bore or the cylinder housing.
