PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve photoelectric conversion efficiency by forming a window layer in contact with a transparent substrate. CONSTITUTION: A window layer(200) is formed on a substrate. A light absorbing layer(300) is formed on the window layer and includes a section where a bandgap gradually decreases from the lower side to the upper side. A buffer layer(400) is formed on the light absorbing layer. A rear electrode layer(500) is formed on the buffer layer. The light absorbing layer includes a first light absorbing layer and a second light absorbing layer(320) formed on the first light absorbing layer. |
