The sustainable, self-sealing, pourable sealing material (17) comprises a mix of multiple primary spherical bodies (13), which has a homogenized mixture of clay earth material mass (1) and a source material (2) made of bentonite powder, bentonite beads or bentonite pellets streaming in contact with water, such that each body is swelling over its complete volume in contact with water. Multiple secondary spherical bodies (14) are provided, which have a support particle (3) made of natural stone, artificial stone or recycling material. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a sustainable, self-sealing, pourable sealing material; and (2) a method for sealing floor areas in situ under water, particularly of inclined surfaces, such as slopes of canals. |
