POWER COLLECTION AND TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS

PURPOSE: A power collection and transmission system is provided to improve the reliability of the entire system by matching a second DC/DC converter assembly and each second DC/DC converter to rated voltage and power required for a generation district. CONSTITUTION: A power collection and transmission system comprises DC collection networks used for respective clusters. A first DC/DC converter(8) is arranged in each generation facility. First and second DC transmission lines(20,22) transmit electricity produced by the generation facility to a conversion station on land. A second DC/DC converter assembly(12) is connected between the DC collection network and the first and second DC power transmission lines.
