摘要 PURPOSE: A high-strength and high-ductility magnesium alloy extruded material with low anisotropy and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to guarantee excellent strength and ductility by controlling crystal grain, precipitate, and crystal texture through a thermal treatment and a high-temperature plastic working process optimized for alloy characteristics based on Mg-Sn alloy. CONSTITUTION: A high-strength and high-ductility magnesium alloy extruded material is composed of under 3.5-6.5wt.% of Sn, under 0.05-6.0wt.% of Zn, and the rest of inevitable impurities and magnesium. The mean diameter of micro-structured crystal grains is less than 20 micron meters. The tensile strength is over 270 MPa, the tensile elongation is over 15%, and the yield strength ratio is over 0.8.
