METHOD FOR TREATING BREAST CANCER BY DECREASING THE EXPRESSION OF ADENINE NUCLEOTIDE TRANSLOCATOR 2 MRNA

PURPOSE: A composition for treating breast cancer which contains ant2 siRNA or ant2 shRNA is provided to enhance breast cancer treating effect of TRAIL. CONSTITUTION: A composition for treating breast cancer which contains adenine nucleotide translocator 2 small interfering RNA(ANT2 siRNA) or ANT2 short hairpin RNA(shRNA) as an active ingredient and suppresses transition of the breast cancer cells. The ANT2 siRNA or ANT2 shRNA induces decomposition of ANT2 mRNA by combining the anti-sense sequence described in the sequence number 3(SEQ ID NO:3) with the sequence number 1. The composition drops the expression of the HER2/neu(human epidermal growth factor receptor 2). The composition multiplies the treatment effects of the breast cancer the TRAIL(TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand). The composition multiplies the expression of DR 4(death receptor 4) and DR5(death receptor 5) on the breast cancer cell surface.
