PURPOSE: An opening and closing valve for a washstand is provided to reduce manufacturing costs with a simple structure and to facilitate assembly and disassembly of the opening and closing valve to/from a washstand. CONSTITUTION: An opening and closing valve(1) for a washstand comprises a drain pipe(10), an opening and closing plate(20), and a control piece(30). The drain pipe is fitted in a drain outlet(3) formed in a washstand(2). A pair of bearing grooves(11) of which upper part is opened at a predetermined depth is arranged in the drain pipe at positions facing each other. The opening and closing plate maintains a closed state while being fitted in the drain pipe in a state of being rotated to a horizontal position The control piece is formed inside the drain pipe and comprises horizontal balancing projections(31) and rotation limiting projections(32). |
