PURPOSE: A solid imaging apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to sufficiently suppress flare and ghost by preventing unnecessary light from reaching a light receiving unit. CONSTITUTION: A solid imaging apparatus includes a printed circuit board(21), an image sensor(22), and a surface mounting component(23-1,23-2). The image sensor has a light receiving unit(32) which receives light from an object and photographs the object. The image sensor is arranged on the substrate. A part or the entire of a predetermined member near the light receiving unit on the substrate is coated with black. |
