PURPOSE: A virtual touch apparatus and method thereof are provided to enable a user to rapidly control electronic apparatuses without using a pointer on a display unit. CONSTITUTION: An image acquisition unit(10) captures the body of a user. The image acquisition unit is composed of image sensors arranged in locations which are different from each other. A space coordinate calculation unit(20) calculates the three dimensional coordinate data of the body using captured images. A touch location calculation unit(30) calculates the data of a connected point coordinate where a line which connects a first and a second space coordinate directly matches on the display surface. A virtual touch processing unit(40) creates and inputs a command code to the main control unit of electronic apparatuses. |
